Hall Place Film Premier!

CRAY : At our film preview!

On the 30th November 2017 we showed Wilfred Salmon and the First Blitz at Hall Place. It was great and we all really had so much fun. We met our friends again from the Summer Film Project and it was so good.
The screening was to mark the centenary of the first flight of the Vickers Vimy and to celebrate our  film making skills!

Young Wilfred being naughty at his school!
It was a good night and people clapped and celebrated our work and we watched a wonderful performance by the children of St Paulinus. ( some of whom we knew!) Stanley was in the show and he was really funny. He was on the musical instruments some of the time and he made a really good speech at the end to say how much he had enjoyed it all!

Young Wilfred is off to War

There were loads of people there. We were told about 120. This included parents of the children, members of historical societies, members of Bexley Borough Council and invited guests.

Who will pass the medical to go to war?

First of all we ( the  CRAY ) gave a little talk about our Summer Film Project. We learned about the background of Wilfred Salmon through a powerpoint and then the children of St. Paulinus performed their play all about Wilfred , guided all the way by Gary and Chris from MOD Theatre. We were all given a book and a copy of the film we made on DVD. My dad watched it and said it was really brilliant.

Watching our film was brilliant. We were very proud!

St Paulinus sang brilliant songs.

We had such a great time in the Summer and it was so much fun to show everyone what we had done.
